Due verità (The Two Truths)

Work description

This work represents a female figure, with a rawer, harder and rougher side and a more refined, more polished and smoother side: the title unites these two parts into a single one.

We often talk about masks under which human beings hide; sometimes, however, these are not masks but actual aspects of the same person. These aspects may appear in contrast, but they can also live peacefully side by side.

What appears is not always a mask, it may simply represent a part of the self, but not the only one!
